Hi Ian!
Actually it’s just pure actionscript. I started down multiple roads first with WPF (I don’t know it that well) and then Flex 4 (Wasn’t happy with the performance I was getting) and then html and jquery (not fast enough with jquery and css is not a strong suite of mine) before finally settling on actionscript (I know it really well and it’s really flexible.)
I have a draft post brewing about why I chose actionscript and how I have everything set up that will show how I created it.
